It is a phrase people use loosely, so here is what it actually means with us. The driver is outside before the booked time. The door is held. Bags are taken from you and carried to the front door rather than left at the kerb. If the heavens open, there is a brolly over you on the way in.
The help does not stop at the kerbside either. We have carried luggage indoors after a long flight, and stopped at a takeaway on the way back from the airport for a client who knew the cupboards would be bare. Personable, but professional. Getting that balance right is the whole job.
